MAJOR IN THEATRE STUDIES
Admission Requirements:
Completion of first-year requirements, including 1.0 course from any 1000-level or above E or combination of two 1000-level or above F/G courses from any department in the faculties of Arts and Humanities, Information and Media Studies (FIMS), or Music, or from the Department of Anthropology, the Department of History, the Department of Political Science with a mark of at least 60%.

Students will be eligible for an Honors BA with double major if they obtain a 70% average in the courses of each major module with no mark less than 60% in each course. No failures are permitted on options.

2.0 courses taken in Year 2: Theatre Studies 2201F/G, Theatre Studies 2202F/G, Theatre Studies 2203E.
4.0 courses taken in Years 3 and Year 4 from Theatre Studies 3201F/G, Theatre Studies 3202F/G, Theatre Studies 3203F/G, Theatre Studies 3204F/G, Theatre Studies 3205F/G, Theatre Studies 3206F/G, Theatre Studies 3207F/G, Theatre Studies 3208F/G, Theatre Studies 3209F/G, Theatre Studies 3211F/G, Theatre Studies 3900F/G, Theatre Studies 3950E, Theatre Studies 3951F/G, Theatre Studies 3952F/G, Theatre Studies 4211F/G, Theatre Studies 4212F/G, Theatre Studies 4214F/G, English 2041F/G. At least 0.5 course must be at the 4000 level. Up to 1.0 relevant course other than Theatre Studies may be substituted with permission of the Chair of Undergraduate Studies.
Note: Theatre Studies 3206F/G and Theatre Studies 3207F/G are offered at the Stratford Festival Theatre during Summer Day. Interested students are advised to take these courses no later than the end of Year 3 to meet graduation deadlines.
