Award Description

Marguerite Ruth Dow Scholarship

Awarded to a student registered in an English program with the Division of English & Modern Languages, Faculty of Education, who has achieved a minimum 80% academic average and demonstrated financial need. The Office of the Registrar-Student Financial Services will complete an assessment of financial need and the Faculty of Arts will select the recipients. Established by Marguerite Ruth Dow, Professor Emerita, The University of Western Ontario, who taught English and Drama in the Faculty of Education from 1965 to 1985.

This bursary will receive matched funding from the Ontario Government through the Student Opportunity Trust Fund.
