Award Description

John Russell Dow Scholarship

Awarded to a student registered in the Faculty of Music who has achieved a minimum 80% academic average and demonstrated financial need. Applications can be obtained through the Office of the Registrar-Student Financial Services and must be submitted by October 31. The Office of the Registrar-Student Financial Services will complete an assessment of financial need and the Faculty of Music will select the recipients. Established by Marguerite Ruth Dow, Professor Emerita, The University of Western Ontario, in memory of her grandfather, John Russell Dow.

This award will receive matched funding from the Ontario Government through the Student Opportunity Trust Fund Program.
