Awarded to a student in the Faculty of Arts who has demonstrated financial need and has achieved a high 'B' average. Preference will be given to students majoring in English. This award was established through Foundation Western by Mary Turnbull (BA '48) and George Turnbull (HBA '49). |

| This award will receive matched funding from the Ontario Government through the Student Opportunity Trust Fund. |
