Award Description

The Francis E. Shaw Scholarship

Awarded to the full-time student, who does not qualify for a more valuable scholarship, holding the highest average in secondary school subjects, residing in Lambton County, Ontario, Canada, and entering a 3-year or 4-year program at The University of Western Ontario. The scholarship will continue if the student maintains an "A" average in an academic program requiring five or more full courses. The permanent capital for these scholarships was kindly donated to the endowment fund of Foundation Western by the Shaw Foundation of Sarnia in honour of the late Francis E. Shaw.

$2,000 annually for up to four years
