Award Description

Allan Gladstone Dow Scholarship

Awarded to a student registered in an English program in the Faculty of Arts who has achieved a minimum 80% academic average and demonstrated financial need. The Office of the Registrar-Student Financial Services will complete an assessment of financial need and the Faculty of Arts will select the recipients. Established by Marguerite Ruth Dow, Professor Emerita, The University of Western Ontario, in memory of her uncle killed on active service during World War I, Alan Gladstone Dow.

This bursary will receive matched funding from the Ontario Government through the Student Opportunity Trust Fund Program.
