Course Description

Microbiology and Immunology 484 Laboratory and Literature Review

A major fourth year course for students in Honors Microbiology and Immunology. The course consists of: lectures on laboratory safety, biosafety, use of animals in research, scientific integrity; a common laboratory session where students will be introduced to modern molecular biological techniques; and a major literature research paper including oral and written presentations.

Antirequisites: Biochemistry 483 and 484, Microbiology and Immunology 483 and the former Microbiology and Immunology 482, and the former Biochemistry 482.
Prerequisites: Enroment limited to students in Year 4 of Honors Microbiology and Imumunology Program.
12 hours per week.
