Biochemistry 484 Laboratory and Literature Review |
A major fourth year course for students in Honors Biochemistry, Chemistry/Biochemistry. The course consists of: lectures on laboratory safety, biosafety, use of animals in research, and scientific integrity; a common laboratory session where students will be introduced to modern molecular biological techniques; and a major literature research paper including oral and written presentations. |
Antirequisites: Biochemistry 483, Microbiology and Immunology 483, 484, and the former Microbiology and Immunology 481, 482, and the former Biochemistry 481, 482. |
Prerequisites: Enrolment limited to students in Year 4 of Honors Biochemistry, and Honors Biochemistry/Chemistry Programs or permission of the Department. |
