Course Description

Nursing 420 Focused Clinical Concepts

Learners have opportunities to learn advanced concepts related to caring for children, adults and their families who are experiencing complex health challenges. Emphasis is on critical thinking, pattern recognition, decision-making and on exploration and integration of concepts through discussions, simulations and paradigm cases.

Prerequisite: Completion of Year 1, 2 and 3 of the Basic Nursing Program.
Corequisite: Registration in all courses required in Year 4 of the Basic Nursing Program.
Terms 1 - 4 classroom/seminar hours, full course.
