Course Description

Plant Sciences 403a Advanced Ecology

Plant population dynamics with emphasis on reproduction, seedlings and competition, the ecology and control of weeds and other applications. Physiological plant ecology with special reference to micro-climate and plant response to temperature, moisture stress and herbivory.

Prerequisite: Admission to the fourth year of a four-year program in Biological or Basic Medical Sciences.

2 lecture hours, 3 laboratory/tutorial hours, half course.
