Psychology 380F/G Psychological Statistics Using Computers

This course covers most statistical procedures used in psychological research, and the use and interpretation of SPSS for Windows. Topics covered include the t test, various forms of analysis of variance, chi-square, bivariate and multiple regression and correlation, factor analysis, multivariate analysis of variance, and Monte Carlo methods.

Antirequisite: Psychology 381F/G or the former Psychology 381E.
Prerequisites: Psychology 281, 280E and registration in third or fourth year of Honors Psychology Program.
2 lecture hours, 2 laboratory hours, half course.
Note: Psychology 380F/G is a mandatory course for students taking an honors program in Psychology. Third or fourth year Honors Psychology Students as well as General and Special Students who receive 70% in Psychology 282E may also enrol in this course.
