Sociology 244F/G Collective Behavior

Basic forms of collective behavior including social crowds, publics, and the mass society will be examined in terms of their structural and social psychological consequences. The focus of the course will be the analysis of the relationship between human problems and collective attempts to resolve them.

Prerequisite: Sociology 020 or 021E.
3 lecture hours, half course.
