Course Description

Clothing, Textiles and Design 020a/b Introductory Clothing

An intense theoretical and practical treatment of pattern alterations and basic dress-making techniques. Emphasis on design, fabric and the principles of technique necessary to produce a well-fitted, professionally constructed garment.

4 lecture/laboratory hours, half course.
May not be used as credit for Clothing, Textiles and Design or Family Studies degree programs.
