Course Description

French 170a/b French for Cuisine and Nutrition

This course is designed primarily to provide Foods and Nutrition students with a basic knowledge of French in the workplace. It will also be of interest to students wishing to acquire a basic understanding of French culture in the area of food vocabulary, healthy eating, and French and Canadian cuisine.

Antirequisite: Native French speakers are not permitted to register for this course.
Prerequisite: French 002, or equivalent or permission of the Department based on placement test.
3 hours, half course.
