Course Description

History of Science 029E Major Issues in World History

Designed to provide a broad historical background and to develop analytical skills, this course examines the major themes and ideas underlying the development of modern societies. Among areas of discussion will be the historical significance of migration patterns, the study of war and revolution and the growth of traditions and cultures in both the east and the west.
