Social Work 413a/b Social Work, Ethics and the Law

Current topics such as divorce, separation, child abuse, the New Young Offenders Act, the Family Reform Act, the Child and Family Services Act, court systems and procedures are examined in the light of their ethical and legal aspects.

Antirequisites: The former Social Work 425a/b and 455a/b.
Prerequisites: Social Work 316a/b, 317a/b, 318a/b, and 319b.
Corequisite: Social Work 419.
3 lecture hours, half course.
