CEE 220a/b Structural Theory and Design I

A first course in Structural Theory and Design, including a consolidation of material concerning static equilibrium. Free body diagrams; behaviour, analysis and design of trusses and statically determinate beams; Euler buckling; force effect envelopes.

Antirequisites: The former ES 220a/b, 302a, 320.
Prerequisites: ES 022a/b, Applied Mathematics 026.
Corequisites: CEE 202a/b, Applied Mathematics 277.
