Computer Science 179a/b Introduction to Systems Analysis

An introduction to the concepts and technical skills necessary to develop computer-based information systems that fulfil the needs of a variety of organizational environments. Topics include: the role of technology in business; software project management; systems analysis, design, and implementation; computer-aided software engineering.

Antirequisites: Computer Science 032a/b.
Prerequisite: One of Computer Science 025a, 026a/b, the former Computer Science 028a/b, the former Computer Science 226a/b, the former Engineering Science 030.
3 lecture hours, half course.
