PROGRESSION FOLLOWING READMISSION

Students who have been readmitted must achieve a grade point total of eight in the first five courses attempted to be eligible for further registration.

Students who fail to maintain satisfactory academic standing in any year subsequent to readmission will not usually be readmissible to the university for a second time. Exceptions may be made if a student's record over several years indicates a significant improvement in chances for academic success.

In 15-course programs offered by the faculties of Arts, Health Sciences, Information and Media Studies, Science, Social Science, and the affiliated colleges, the total number of "course attempts" shall not exceed:

• 23 attempts, where the total number of courses still to be completed at the time of readmission is 10 to 15;
• 22 attempts, number of courses to be completed is 1 to 9.5
