AFFILIATED COLLEGES
Students may complete the requirements of an area of concentration in Philosophy at King's. Requirements for the BA in Honors Philosophy, or for Philosophy in any combined honors program, may also be completed at the College. For information about the programs in Philosophy, please refer to the requirements specified by the Department of Philosophy in the FACULTY OF ARTS () and COMBINED HONORS PROGRAMS section () of this Calendar.
A mark of at least 60% in one Religious Studies course at the 020-level. Five senior courses in Religious Studies, at least one of which must be at the 200-level or above. With permission of the Department an approved senior course in a related discipline may be substituted for one of these five.
Students wishing to concentrate in Religious Studies should consult the Chair of the Department each year prior to registration.
Courses taken in Religious Studies at any of the affiliated colleges will earn credit towards an area of concentration.
All selection of courses by students in Honors Religious Studies requires written approval of the Religious Studies Department at one of the affiliated colleges and students must consult with one of these departments each year before registration for this purpose.
Students who have completed an area of concentration in Religious Studies should consult with the Department regarding a possible crediting of completed courses toward a Diploma in Honors Standing.
Students who are currently registered in an area of concentration in Religious Studies and who would like to apply for admission into the Honors Religious Studies program should consult with the Department regarding the possible crediting of completed courses toward an honors degree.
First year with a 020-level course in Religious Studies and two other courses as principal courses.
After the first year a total of at least nine Honors Religious Studies full-course equivalents and six options is required. Additional Religious Studies courses may be included among the options, but all Honors Religious Studies courses taken will be regarded as principal courses.
