Applied Mathematics 026 Applied Mathematics for Engineers I

The calculus of functions of one and more variables with emphasis on applications in Engineering Science. For students in Engineering Science only.

Antirequisites: Calculus 050a/b, 051a/b, 081a/b, Mathematics 030, or the former Applied Mathematics 020, or 023a/b plus 024a/b, or the former Mathematics 027.
Prerequisites: OAC Algebra and Geometry or Mathematics 017a/b; and OAC Calculus or Mathematics 012a/b.
3 lecture hours, 1 tutorial hour.
Applied Mathematics 026 is a suitable prerequisite for any course which lists Calculus 050a/b plus 051a/b, or the former Applied Mathematics 020, or 023a/b plus 024a/b, or the former Mathematics 027 as a prerequisite.
