Course Description

Applied Mathematics 275 Applied Mathematical and Numerical Methods for Mechanical Engineering

Topics include: Introduction to C; numerical differentiation and integration; numerical linear algebra; ordinary differential equations including higher order systems and numerical solutions; interpolation and approximation; multiple integrals and vector integral theorems.

Antirequisites: Applied Mathematics 276, 277, and the former Applied Mathematics 272a/b.
Prerequsites: Applied Mathematics 025a/b and 026.
3 lecture hours, 1.5 laboratory hours.
