Geography 390a/b The Economic and Resource Geography of Latin America and the Caribbean

Directed readings will be complemented by lectures on the historical and contemporary elements in the spatial economy of selected regions; emphasis is on agriculture, industry and urban landscapes.

Prerequisites: Third or fourth year status at the University. No specific course is required, but Geography 389a/b is strongly recommended.
2 lecture hours, 2 seminar/workshop hours, half course.
