Course Description

Health Sciences 441a/b Human Ergonomics

This course will examine the task of "fitting the job to the individual" from the perspective of the worker, the work requirements and the working environment. Focus will be on the recognition, correction and prevention of work-related injuries. Reducing job demands through workplace, equipment, and environmental design will be discussed.

Prerequisite: Health Sciences 203a/b OR Kinesiology 222a/b OR Anatomy 221 OR Anatomy 319; Kinesiology 230a/b; Kinesiology 241a/b
Antirequisite: Kinesiology 441a/b
