Course Description

MME 492a/b Production Management for Engineers

This course will introduce engineering students to world class production management strategies necessary for global manufacturing competitiveness. Emerging management concepts such as lean production and total quality management will be discussed and applied to the planning, analysis and control of production systems.

Antirequisite: The former ES 492a/b.
Prerequisite: Completion of third year of the Engineering program.
3 lecture hours, 2 laboratory/tutorial hours, half course.
