| Nursing 318a/b Elementary Statistics |

A self-directed introduction to the analysis of quantitative data using descriptive and inferential statistics, and measures of association and correlation to study nursing and health related problems. The goal is to prepare students to be knowledgable consumers of statistical findings. |
| Prerequisite: Completion of Year 1 and 2 of the Basic Nursing Program. |
| Corequisite: Registration in all courses required in Year 3 of the Basic Nursing Program. |
| 2 lecture hours, 2 lab hours, half course. |
