Course Description

Nursing 492 Advanced Health Assessment and Diagnosis

Students develop skills in health assessment and monitoring of individuals and families across the life span (including detection of signs of pathology), assessment of needs of diverse communities, diagnostic reasoning, and clinical decision-making. Prior knowledge of basic health assessment, anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology, and therapeutic counselling is expected.

3 hours theory and 3 hours practice.
