Course Description

Philosophy 122E Philosophy of the Social Sciences.

A survey and critical examination of philosophical issues raised in and be the social sciences. Sample topics include the relationship of social to natural science; the nature of explanation, the status of evidence, and theory evaluation in the social sciences; and the ethical implication of studying social, human subjects.
