Course Description

Biology 316a Advanced Cell Biology

(Given by the Department of Zoology.) The functional organization and physiology of cells with special reference to cellular membranes, energetics, cell motility, cell specializations, and cell-cell interactions. The course is based on the interpretation of experimental observations.

Prerequisites: Biochemistry 280a or the former Biology 280a; Biology 282b.
2 lecture hours, 2 demonstration/tutorial hours, half course.
