Course Description

Zoology 444a Quantitative Methods in Zoology

Problems relating to sampling, experimental design and statistical analysis for studies of animal populations in the field and of animal behavior and physiology in the laboratory, are considered. The emphasis is on practical application rather than theory, and on problems of particular concern in biological studies.

Prerequisite: A statistical course or half course that meets the requirements of the BSc in Biology.
2 lecture hours, 3 laboratory hours, half course.
