TUITION DEPOSIT INFORMATION

Undergraduate General Programs Fall/Winter Tuition Deposits (2001-2002 Rates)

A deposit on tuition fees is required to retain a place in a Fall/Winter session course(s) until the registration deadline. Please see FEE PAYMENT DEADLINES / PAYMENT INSTRUCTIONS below.

Deferments are not granted for the tuition deposit payment. It is the student's responsibility to ensure that payment is received by the applicable deadline.

Full-time students who select course(s) on-line or in special circumstances select course(s) through a manual process must pay a tuition deposit of $440.00 by the due date listed on the tuition deposit bill. Full-time students who withdraw from the University prior to the start of the session or do not complete their registration will be assessed a cancellation fee of $220.00 from the deposit and the balance will be refunded. Part-time students who select course(s) on-line or in special circumstances select course(s) through a manual process must pay a tuition deposit of $110.00 by the due date listed on the tuition deposit bill. Part-time students who withdraw from their courses prior to the start of the session or fail to complete their registration will be assessed a cancellation fee of $44.00 per full course and/or $22.00 per half course from the deposit and the balance will be refunded. Note: It is very important that constituent students advise the Registrar's Office (Academic Records) in writing, as soon as possible, if they are cancelling their registration. Affiliated College students should advise their Registrar.

If you have not advised the Registrar's Office (Academic Records) in writing that you wish to cancel your registration prior to the start of the session, you will lose the remaining deposit paid based on a pro-rated refund schedule. Refer to "Registration Changes".

Spring/Summer Session:

A deposit on tuition fees is not required to retain a place in Spring/Summer sessions course(s) as fees must be paid in full. Refer to the Part-Time Studies Spring/Summer Calendar for Fees Payment and Registration Instructions.
