ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE

Non-degree courses and special programs in English as a second language are provided by the Centre for Continuing Studies. Short courses focusing on such skills as pronunciation and writing for academic purposes are offered in the evenings during the academic year. Contract programs for groups can be mounted on request and tailored to the needs of participants. The annual Summer English Program accommodates Canadian francophone and international students. (Successful completion of these programs does not guarantee admission to the degree-credit programs of the University.)
