Course Description

Health Sciences 203a/b Systemic Approach to Functional Anatomy

A gross anatomical description of systemic structure and function of the human body, with emphasis on musculoskeletal, cardiovascular and nervous systems. Integration between systems will be discussed using clinical examples related to sport, medicine, and physical therapy. This is an intorductory level lecture course BHSc students.

Antirequisite: Anatomy and Cell Biology 221, 319, Kinesiology 222a/b.
Prerequisite: OAC Biology or equivalent. Restricted to BHSc students
3 lecture hours, half course
