MME 299a/b Integrated Engineering Design I

Application of engineering design methods and techniques in the development of new products. Topics include: concurrent engineering; design for excellence (DFX); life-cycle engineering; product teardown; modeling product metrics; engineering analysis; prototype construction and experimentation.

Prerequisites: MME 259a/b.
