Nursing 320 Promoting the Health of Families and Communities for Registered Nurses

This course for registered nurses, provides a theoretical foundation for understanding family and community health issues. Primary health care, health promotion, family health and community development are critically examined as they relate to family and community health nursing practice in Nursing 321, Professional Practice III for Registered Nurses.

Prerequisite: Registration in the BScN Program for Registered Nurses.
Corequisite: Nursing 321
3-4 lecture/seminar hours per week; full course.
