Nursing 351 Promoting the Health of Families and Communities

This course provides a theoretical foundation for understanding family and community health issues. Primary health care, health promotion, family health and community development are critically examined as they relate to family and community health nursing practice in Professional Practice III, Nursing 352.

Corequisite: All courses in year 3
Prerequisite: Completion of years 1 & 2 of the Western-Fanshawe Collaborative BScN program
3 - 4 lecture/seminar hours per week, full course
