Course Description

Philosophy 344E Philosophy of Social Sciences

A philosophical examination of the structure and methodology of the Social Sciences, e.g. Psychology and Sociology. Functionalism, teleological explanation, and verification of theories will be discussed.

Antirequisites: Philosophy 345F/G and the former 346G.
Prerequisites: At least one 020-level or honors course in Philosophy, and third or fourth-year honors standing in Philosophy or Social Science.
