Physiology 442a/b Physiology of Exercise

A study of the response and regulation of the human cardiovascular, respiratory and acid base systems to acute and chronic exercise.

Antirequisite: Kinesiology 432a/b and the former Physical Education 432a/b; Physiology 342a/b.
Prerequisite: Physiology 310 (formerly Biology 310) (or Physiology 314a (formerly Biology 314a) with permission of the Department); or Physiology 020 or 130.
2 lecture hours, 1 tutorial hour, half course.
