Political Science 232 Political Analysis

A survey of problems in the methodology of political science. Topics include: the scope and purposes of normative and empirical political inquiry; the relations of political science to the other social sciences; the role of theory in political research; concepts and concept formation, and finding adequate measures for theoretical concepts.
