Course Description

VAS 430 Practicum

A studio course leading to a graduating exhibition and an accompanying thesis statement. Discussion and critiques will complement investigative research initiated by students and supervised by faculty.

Antirequisites: The former Visual Arts 425 and 427, and also the former Visual Arts 422 and 428 if taken before 1985-86, the former Visual Arts 430.
Prerequisites: Two 300-level studio courses, VAS 380E, minimum 75% overall VAS grade average, and portfolio review.
2 lecture/tutorial hours, 10 studio hours. Two course weight.
