Course Description

International and Comparative Studies 301F/G Applied Research Ethics for International and Comparative Studies

This course explores practical ethical issues associated with major forms of qualitative research with human subjects. Special consideration is given to ethical problems in the context of inequality. Students design a project and program of research that conforms to standard ethical guidelines.

Prerequisite: International and Comparative Studies 020E or the former ICS 020, and 1 full course equivalent from the following: the former ICS 200E, the former ICS 200E, 201F/G, 202F/G
