Sociology 352E The Sociology of Political Life

A study of power dynamics at a broad societal level, particularly in the workplace. Special emphasis on how globalization affects industrial restructuring in Canada, the U.S. and Latin America. Attention is also paid to the social implications of the renewed prominence of industry in Latin American countries such as Mexico.
