Social Justice and Peace Studies 200E Perspectives on Social Justice and Peace

A comprehensive survey of the theoretical perspectives on social justice and peace chiefly examining the Judaeo-Christian tradition, as well as liberal and Marxist positions. In addition to thoroughly comprehending the various perspectives introduced, students will be required to participate in the work of an organization working for social justice or peace, and examine the organization's perspective on social justice or peace.

Prerequisite: Social Justice and Peace Studies 020E.
