ECE 457a/b Power Electronics

Power electronics is concerned with the use of power semiconductor devices in converter structures (topologies) to process and control the flow of electric energy. The aim of the course is to familiarize students with various power electronic converter topologies and their applications.

Prerequisite: ECE 233a/b, ECE 235a/b, ECE 333a/b.
3 lecture hours, half course.
