Admission Requirements

Completion of first-year requirements, including the following courses each with a mark of at least 60%: Physics 020 or 024 or 026 or 028a/b plus 029a/b; Calculus 050a/b and 051a/b (or 081a/b) or Applied Mathematics 026; Chemistry 020 or 023; Two of Earth Sciences 022a/b, 023a/b, 081a/b, 083F/G, or the former Earth Sciences 020.

One of Chemistry or Earth Sciences may be postponed until year two.

2.0 courses: Physics 208, 308a/b, 309a/b
0.5 course: Chemistry 213a/b
0.5 course from: Earth Sciences 206a/b or the former 205a, 230b
3.0 courses from: Astronomy 201a/b, Applied Mathematics 290a, 291b, Biochemistry 280a, Biology 281b, 282b, Calculus 250a/b, 251a/b, Chemistry 211a/b, 214a/b, 223b, 272F, 320a/b, 364b, Earth Sciences 206a/b or the former 205a or 230b (whichever has not previously been taken), or the former Earth Sciences 317a/b, 324a/b, Physics 201a/b, 202a/b, 343a/b.
