MAJOR IN GEOGRAPHY


Admission Requirements

Completion of first-year requirements, including Geography 020E or 021 with a mark of at least 60%.


Module

6.0 courses:

1.5 courses from: Geography 201a/b, 237a/b, 242a/b, 280a/b
1.5 courses from: Geography 208a/b, 213a/b, 214a/b, 216a/b, 220a/b, 235F/G, 270a/b, 277F/G
0.5 additional course in Geography at the 100 level or above (See Note)
2.5 additional courses in Geography 300 or above

Note: Students who wish to apply to the B.Ed. program at UWO are advised that at least one course (0.5 credit) of Canadian Geography is required. Geography 124a/b, 157a/b, 166a/b and 352a/b currently fulfill this requirement.

Within certain degrees, this module may be combined with the Geography modules listed below. (Please see the "Approved Module Combinations for Degrees" chart under "Degree Structure".) Note: Honors degrees require two Major Modules.
