Admission Requirements

Completion of first-year requirements, including 1.0 course from Geography 021, 022F/G, 023a/b, 024F/G, the former 020E with a mark of at least 60% in each Geography course.


Module

4.0 courses:

1.5 course: Geography 220a/b, 270a/b, 277F/G
2.5 courses from: Geography 116a/b, 124a/b, 128a/b, 134F/G, 146E,148a/b, 153a/b, 154F/G, 155a/b, 157a/b, 166a/b, 171a/b, 177a/b, 178a/b, 181F/G, 249a/b, 322F/G, 327F/G, 328F/G, 329a/b, 332a/b, 335F/G, 349a/b, 358F/G, 359F/G, 360F/G, 366a/b, 369F/G, 372a/b, 384a/b, 385a/b, 387a/b, or relevant selected topics courses (see Department for approved list).

Within certain degrees, this module may be combined with the Geography modules listed below. (Please see the "Approved Module Combinations for Degrees" chart under "Degree Structure".)

BA Honors Specialization in Geography
Major in Geography
Minor in Geographic Information Science
Minor in Physical Geography
Minor in Watershed Processes and Management

Special Rules Regarding Overlapping Courses with other Geography Modules:

Students combining the Minor in Society, Space and Change with the BA Honors Specialization in Geography must take an additional 0.5 course from the list beginning "2.5 courses from: Geography 116a/b..."; a 0.5 course overlap from Geography 220a/b, 270a/b, 277F/G is permitted for those students.
