FOUR-YEAR BSc HONORS CHEMISTRY WITH ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE


Admission Requirements

The program in first year must include Biology 022 or 023 with a minimum mark of 60%, and either Chemistry 020 with a minimum mark of 60%, or 023 with a minimum mark of 70%, both as principal courses; Physics 020, 024, or 028a/b and 029a/b, or the former Physics 025; Mathematics 030 with a minimum mark of 80%, or Calculus 050a/b plus one of Calculus 051a/b or 081a/b, or Applied Mathematics 026. Students are encouraged to include Geography 020E in the first year.

    Environmental Science 350F/G
    Two additional 400-level Chemistry half-courses
    Chemistry 320a/b, or the former Chemistry 378b or an additional 400-level Chemistry half-course
    One and one-half senior courses from Groups B through E, no more than one of which can be at the 100-level; a senior course or two senior half courses from Group C and/or E must be included in this total, if not taken previously. A half-course of the required one and one-half senior courses may be replaced by the former Chemistry 390a.
