BACHELOR OF MANAGEMENT AND ORGANIZATIONAL STUDIES

The essential modules in the 20.0 course Bachelor of Management and Organizational Studies Degree are either a Double Major (BMOS Honors Degree) or a Specialization (BMOS (Four-year) Degree) providing students with a four-year degree, combining management courses with a broad background in the social sciences and liberal arts.

The Bachelor of Management and Organizational Studies Honors degree must include one of the following four Major modules: Accounting; Management and Organizational Studies; Organizational and Human Resources; Commercial Aviation Management; in combination with another Major module in a discipline other than Management and Organizational Studies.

The Bachelor of Management and Organizational Studies (BMOS)(Four-Year) degree offers the following four Specializations: Finance and Administration; Finance, Administration and Computer Science; Organizational and Human Resources; Commercial Aviation Management. BMOS Specializations may be combined with a Minor module in another discipline.

In addition to the BMOS Degree, the Commercial Aviation Management Major and Specialization
allow students who select the Flight Training option to obtain a Commercial Pilot’s License.
Students accepted into Commercial Aviation Management must meet all admission, progression and
graduation requirements. In addition, students wishing to pursue the Commercial Pilot's License
option must have completed Grade 12U Physics or one of Physics 020, 021, 024 or 025 prior to their
second year of study. Students must also provide, on or before September 1 of their first year of
study, documentation that they have successfully obtained the Transport Canada Category 1 Medical
Certification. It is recommended as well that students complete at least two hours of small aircraft
flying time prior to their first year of study. Students who have obtained previous flight training from
an accredited flight school also may be eligible to receive credit for this training at the discretion of
the Director of the BMOS Program.
