MAJOR IN BIOARCHAEOLOGICAL ANTHROPOLOGY


Admission Requirements

Completion of first-year requirements, including either Anthropology 025F/G and 026F/G or Anthropology 020E with a mark of at least 60% in each Anthropology course.


Module

6.0 courses:

0.5 course from: Anthropology 211F/G, 212F/G, 216F/G, 217F/G, 218F/G, 219F/G
0.5 course from: Anthropology 230F/G, 231F/G, 232F/G, 233F/G, 234F/G.
2.0 courses: Anthropology 226a/b, 229F/G, 301E
3.0 courses from: Anthropology 235a/b, 236a/b, 264F/G, 306F/G, 307a, 308F/G, 310F/G, 320, 334F/G, 336F/G, 338F/G (or the former 338a/b), Anthropology 341F/G (or the former 341a/b), Anthropology 342a/b, 400E, 420a/b. Students may substitute a maximum of 0.5 course, not previously taken, from: Anthropology 211F/G, 212F/G, 216F/G, 217F/G, 218F/G, 219F/G, 230F/G, 231F/G, 232F/G, 233F/G, 234F/G.

Anthropology 400E is strongly recommended for fourth-year students planning
graduate work in anthropology.

Note: Some courses are offered only in alternate years. Students are advised to consult the Department when planning their module. (See list of the courses by subfield at the end of this section.)
